Brian Carmody is the Co-founder/Managing Partner of international production company SMUGGLER, winner of Ad Age’s 2020 Production Company of the Year, and creative studio division7. Brian has received many of the most coveted awards and honours as a producer, including the Tony Award, the Cannes Lions, the Grand Prix, the Palme d’Or, and the Emmy.

Recent notable projects in various mediums include international hit and eight-time Tony Award-winning musical ”Once”, New York Times Movie ‘critic’s pick’ “Weightless”, Simon McBurney’s stage adaptation of Robert Evans’ memoir ”The Kid Stays in the Picture”, Broadway’s newest musical ”Sing Street” (opening this March at the Lyceum Theatre on Broadway), and the documentary “The Badass Librarians of Timbuktu”, which is due out later in the year.

Brian serves on the Board of Governors for the Association of Independent Commercial Producers (AICP) award show.
