Brian Carmody is the Co-founder/Managing Partner of international production company ​SMUGGLER​, winner of Ad Age’s Production Company of the Year, and creative studio ​division7​. Brian has received many of the most coveted awards and honours as a producer, including the Tony Award, the Cannes Lions, the Grand Prix, the Palme d’Or, and the Emmy.

Recent notable projects in various mediums include international hit and eight-time Tony Award-winning musical ​”Once”, New York Times Movie ‘critic’s pick’ “Weightless”,​ Simon McBurney’s stage adaptation of Robert Evans’ memoir ​”The Kid Stays in the Picture”​, Broadway’s newest musical ”Sing Street”(opening this March at the Lyceum Theatre on Broadway), and the documentary “The ​Badass Librarians of Timbuktu”​, which is due out later in the year.

Brian serves on the Board of Governors for the Association of Independent Commercial Producers (AICP) award show.
