Jordan Firstman

Jordan Firstman is a director, writer, and actor living in Los Angeles, CA. He is known for his award-winning short films “Call Your Father” and “Men Don’t Whisper” as well as writing on the hit television series Search Party.  

“Call Your Father” is a satirical short-film exploring the ups-and-downs of an inter-generational gay couple. The short premiered to festival acclaim and is currently available on the Criterion Channel. Firstman’s follow-up, “Men Don’t Whisper,” is a comedic short film about an emasculated gay couple who try to regain their masculinity by seducing several women. The film was screened at Sundance, SXSW, and Outfest, among others, and was selected as a Vimeo Staff Pick Premiere.

Most recently, Firstman reached new levels of popularity and prominence thanks to his “Impressions” on Instagram garnerning positive responses from internet fans and celebrities alike, amassing an 850k following in the process. In a recent article, Vogue referred to him as “the funniest man on the internet.”

Other notable projects include, an ode sung by the Gay Men’s Choir of Los Angeles celebrating gay representation in film at the Independent Spirit Awards, as well as his contribution’s to Thom Browne’s SS2021 runway and “A Very Versace Christmas” for Vogue starring Donatella Versace.
