Biography
Omri’s work is driven by instinct, visceral energy, impulsive movement and heart. There is a rawness to his work, a wild spirit – which is reflected equally in his personality and empathy.
He thrives on creating a heightened cinematic experience out of real life. An ability to find the magic in people, his casting process is relentless. He thrives on combining actors with street casting and unique individuals who naturally embody the role that’s called for.
His approach always aims to engage his audience, and to make them feel deeply.
Omri’s career started with an Olympics spot for Nike. He has spent over 10 years collaborating with Nike as a trusted partner tasked with creating work for some of the biggest sport moments for the brand including multiple Olympics, World Cups, and campaign launches. He has shot award-winning work for brands such as Nike, Gatorade, PUMA, NBA, X-BOX, Pepsi, Coca-Cola, NFL alongside the industries top agencies.
His award winning campaign for Nike Japan “Minohodoshirazu” – meaning don’t know your place – is about DEFIANCE – it challenged Japanese society to break out of the mold and break the rules sent waves through Japan and garnered local honors.
Omri was born in Jerusalem, Israel to a Moroccan mother and a Bulgarian/Spanish father. A son of soldiers and a champion of peace.
