Tim Pastore

Tim Pastore is the CEO / Founding Partner of SMUGGLER Entertainment, and a media executive who has spent the majority of his career at the helm of global network programming teams and production studio groups. He is also a multiple Emmy Award-winning executive producer, overseeing the development, sales, and production of all programming at the company, such as the recently released series Messi Meets America (AppleTV+). As a producer, Pastore’s achievements range from executive producing powerful documentary films, notably the 2019 Academy Award winner Free Solo, and the Emmy Award-winning films Jane and LA92, to creating hit Emmy Award-winning franchises like Life Below Zero. Previously, he served as CEO of All3Media America, the U.S. arm of one of the largest independent television, film, and digital production groups in the world, where he oversaw hundreds of hours of award-winning unscripted programming for broadcast, cable, and streaming partners such as the Emmy Award-winning United Shades of America (CNN), Gordon Ramsay’s Uncharted (National Geographic), American BBQ Showdown (Netflix), Homestead Rescue (Discovery), and many more. Pastore is known for transforming content-driven organizations and brings his content development and production expertise to leadership roles to drive significant growth. Prior to All3Media America, Pastore served as President of Original Programming and Production for National Geographic Channel where he launched the feature documentary strand through multiple critically acclaimed film projects and expanded the channel’s premium programming through such content as the acclaimed Will Smith-hosted series One Strange Rock from executive producer Darren Aronofsky, The Story of God with Morgan Freeman, Before the Flood with Leonardo DiCaprio, and the drama-doc series MARS from executive producers Ron Howard and Brian Grazer. Prior to National Geographic, Pastore held development, programming, and production roles at BBC Worldwide Productions, and the Discovery Channel.
