Biography

Jovan Todorović is a Serbian-American film director and multidisciplinary artist whose work blends heightened world-building with emotional resonance. Drawn to storytelling as a means of exploring our shared humanity, he employs inventive technical language to craft films that are epic in scale yet intimately felt.

This singular sensibility has made him a sought-after collaborator for leading agencies and some of the world’s most revered brands, earning international recognition from AICP, FIPRESCI, Cannes Lions, Clio, CICLOPE, 1.4 Awards, Shots, LUX and Golden Drum for his clear vision and meticulous craft.

His GM campaign “See You on the Road” via Droga5 demonstrates a seamless blend of technical artistry and energetic filmmaking, while “Focus Forward” for Tissot turns anticipation into something kinetic, elegant and surreal. His award-winning Diesel campaign “Hate Couture” via Publicis Milan embodies many of his defining creative signatures with defiant individuality, unconventional beauty and performances that feel effortlessly authentic. Across other notable collaborations with Nike, Guinness, Puma and Samsung, he continues to push the boundaries of visual storytelling, marrying mood, movement and message with a precise sense of pacing.

Todorović’s command of rhythm, atmosphere and emotional experience extends naturally to music. His video for Inhaler’s “Your House” brings an aching portrait of fractured love, while “Schwer” for Paul Kalkbrenner breaks new ground through volumetric capture and AI, meditating on the evolving relationship between human and machine. The same creative language informs ZNTNDR, an electronic music and video project he founded, produces and fronts. His video “Untitled Us” was released to widespread acclaim, earning CICLOPE awards for Cinematography, Production Design and Editing.

With a singular style and unflinching curiosity for the human condition, Todorović continues to expand the possibilities of contemporary filmmaking. His captivating work invites us to experience the world with greater depth, empathy and wonder, bridging technically ambitious spectacle and profound truth with rare conviction.
