Christopher Storer, director and creator of the critically acclaimed FX standout series, The Bear, has established himself as a singular and wholly unique filmmaker in total command of his craft.

In The Bear, starring Ayo Edebiri and Jeremy Allen White, Storer captures the frenetic world of a Chicago kitchen under new management with masterful and immersive direction, receiving numerous accolades from the Emmy, Golden Globe, and Critics Choice awards, among others. This year, Storer also took home the Directors Guild of America Award for Outstanding Directorial Achievement in Comedy Series for the show.

Outside of The Bear, Storer is an Executive Producer and Director on Hulu’s hit series Ramy, starring Ramy Youssef, and his direction extends to comedy specials, featuring the likes of Bo Burnham, Hasan Minhaj, Chris Rock, Jerrod Carmichael, Drew Michael, Lil Rel Howry, Ramy Youssef, Dan Soder, and Whitmer Thomas for HBO and Netflix. In 2018, he also played a crucial role as a producer for Bo Burnham’s lauded feature film, Eighth Grade, which clinched both the DGA award for best screenplay and the DGA Award for Outstanding Directorial Achievement in First-Time Feature Film, securing his position as a standout talent. 

Recently he skillfully captured the chaotic essence of family gatherings and the heartwarming intimacy of bringing a new love interest home for the holidays in “The New Guy” for Coca-Cola. Inspired by the acclaimed “Fishes” episode of The Bear, the spot showcases Storer’s immersive storytelling approach seamlessly weaving together a diverse array of Coca-Cola brands into a cohesive narrative with his signature exploration of character and authenticity.
